Our teams are working tirelessly on the ground, delivering emergency aid — but the need is overwhelming The recent earthquake has left a trail of destruction across Eastern Afghanistan, with Kunar province at the epicenter
Villages have been flattened, roads are blocked, and communication lines are down, making rescue efforts even more difficult Children, the elderly, and women are among the most vulnerable — many are still trapped under debris, while survivors are sleeping in the open without protection from the elements . Hospitals in the region are struggling to cope with the overwhelming number of casualties, with shortages of medicine, clean water, and electricity adding to the crisis International assistance has been slow to arrive, leaving local communities dependent on immediate humanitarian aid
